There are dental hospitals, and hospitals with dental clinics, which offer dental services by experienced and qualified dentists. These are included in the section below. For much cheaper treatment, patients can go to dental teaching hospitals where dental students need to practise doing treatment on living people. Opinions vary whether this is a good idea or not. It is cheap if successful, expensive if you need to get an error fixed.

Thumbay Super Specialty Dental Centre - Thumbay Hospital, Ajman
University Dental Hospital Sharjah (UDHS). Most teaching clinics operate from September to June only, not July and August, and are closed Fri, Sat, and public holidays. Treatment is free in the Teaching Clinics but not in the Private Clinics. There is a registration fee of AED 50, an annual fee of AED 50 to stay registered, and patients must pay for materials requiring lab work e.g. crowns and dentures, or surgical materials e.g. implants and bone grafts. Procedure is to pay registration fee then go on a waiting list for treatment. Emirates ID or UAE residence visa required so it seems like non-residents cannot use this service.
