- Atlantis, The Palm resort hotel on Palm Jumeirah island has two underwater suites, the Poseidon and the Neptune, with views from the bedroom and bathroom into the Ambassador Lagoon. No the windows can't be opened to grab a fish for your dinner. The suites are on three floors.
- Hydropolis underwater hotel project in Dubai by Crescent Hydropolis. First announced in 2003 with development cost estimate AED 1.1 billion? Opening date planned for 2009, but repeatedly postponed or delayed, and as of 2014 project is suspended or cancelled.
