Fujairah transport and logistics
Fujairah is located on the Indian Ocean which means sea transport does not have to navigate the Straits of Hormuz. There is good, rather than excellent, road access to Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah, although the highways can be busy, and the many trucks travelling along them tend to tear up the roads a bit so they look tired relatively quickly. Fujairah International Airport has a handful of flights to countries in the region but is relatively small compared to Abu Dhabi International Airport or Dubai International Airport. Most passenger traffic to Fujairah is more likely to enter the UAE via one of those airports (Dubai is closer) or Sharjah International Airport (even closer to Fujairah).
