How many emirates are there in the UAE? Seven. The list of 7 UAE emirates is: Abu Dhabi AUH, Ajman AJM, Dubai DXB, Fujairah FUJ, Ras Al Khaimah RAK, Sharjah SHJ, and Umm Al Quwain UAQ. Al Ain is not an emirate, it is a city in the emirate of Abu Dhabi.
