Mazaya Center Sheikh Zayed Road
The Mazaya Center, or Al Mazaya Centre is a moderate sized shopping center on Sheikh Zayed Rd, in the Al Wasl area of Dubai which first opened in 2000. Anchor stores include Brands, a Homes-R-Us furniture store, Pier Import for more home goodies (handy place to go if you're stuck for a birthday present for someone), and a Spinneys Market (closed in 2009?) Carrefour Express (opened in 2009?). The Mazaya Center also has accommodation for shopaholics who want to live where they shop (1,2, and 3 bedroom apartments are available), and commercial offices. Other facilities include swimming pools, sauna, and gym.

- SportsFit Health Club opening announced 19 July 2011 (press release). Location on first floor, area 14,000 sq feet, separate male and female gyms, opening hours 0600-2400 every day. Contact details not supplied.
Mazaya Center opening hours
- Saturday to Thursday 1000-2200 (10am-10pm). Restaurants open 0900?
- Friday 1630-2200 (4:30pm-10pm). Restaurants open 1330?
- Spinneys open 0930 every day.
