Table of RERA guide to rents for freehold apartments in Bur Dubai area in 2008, 2009, 2010

03 May 2009 - RERA rent index values were reset to 2008 H2 levels. Do not assume RERA 09 Q1 values are official.

Dubai freehold apartments rent guide (AED 000s, per year)

     Use these figures for the rent cap calculator to calculate the rent cap that applies to you.     
  • RERA 08H2: RERA rent index for second half of 2008
  • RERA 09Q1: RERA rent index for first quarter of 2009 (information available 30 April 2009 but not officially confirmed).
  • LM 0903: Landmark Properties rent guide for March 2009 (not official RERA figures and should not be used to calculate the applicable rent cap).
  • AS 09Q1: Asteco Properties rent guide for first quarter 2009 (not official RERA figures, should not be used for rent cap calculations).
  • *Al Barsha, Bur Dubai, Deira, Mirdif, Sheikh Zayed Rd are not freehold property locations (for expats) but are included here for reference
  • Overall average values are probably distorted upwards by high values (how many apartments in each category is not factored in)
