Taxi rank locations in Dubai
A list of Dubai taxi ranks is in this table (as of August 2008). If there is no taxi waiting, send an sms text message to 4774, with the taxi rank number. Or telephone one of these numbers: Dubai Taxi 04-2080808, Arabia Taxi tel 800-272242, National Taxi tel 600-543322, Cars Taxi tel 800-227789, or Metro Taxi tel 600-566000.
As with anything new in Dubai, expect some teething problems initially - incorrect or obscure location numbers for example. There are maps apparently available in bookshops and newsagents, but there is no further information on the Dubai Taxi website (as of August 2008).
