ITP is a Dubai based publishing house which distributes the weekly UAE magazines Time Out Dubai, and Time Out Abu Dhabi, amongst many other publications. ITP Digital has several online magazine websites in its network including www.timeoutdubai.com and www.timeoutabudhabi.com. Both Time Out magazines and websites are well regarded English language sources of event news and background stories for the UAE, and have comprehensive movie, dining, drinking, social activity, and sports listings.
Other places to buy tickets in the UAE
- Major events will often have their own box office and ticket hotline, but many will use timeouttickets.com for online ordering and the Time Out Tickets hotline for telephone orders, either instead of, or in addition to their own ordering facilities.
- The Madinat Theatre in Madinat Jumeirah has their own box office for theatre and other productions.
- Virgin Megastores often sell tickets to concerts and DJ performances.
- Box Office Middle East (www.boxofficeme.com) tel +971-4-3676520, also has many UAE event tickets which can be booked online. An advantage is that you don't need to register and login to buy a ticket, as opposed to the Time Out Tickets purchase system.
